Cotton Ikats

Ikat fabric is like the artistic rebel of the textile world! Renowned for its intricate, hand-dyed patterns, ikat designs are achieved through a meticulous resist-dyeing process. Both warp (lengthwise) and weft (crosswise) threads are selectively bound and dyed before weaving, creating the characteristic soft, blurred designs.

This process creates fabrics that are as unique as they are beautiful. Lightweight and breezy, ikat is perfect for sewing standout pieces like a flowy dress, quirky blouse, or bold skirt. Ikat offers a bohemian charm steeped in artistry and tradition.
