Joan V. made this gorgeous overcoat in a cotton blend fleece using Butterick pattern #3306. Fleece is not an easy fabric to sew. The nap adds bulk to seams, especially collars, cuffs, and hems. It can also cause edges to creep during stitching, making matching seams tricky. A walking foot makes these issues, including topstitching, a breeze. Joan has handled this garment beautifully. Seams are crisp and matched, tension is even along the stitching lines, and the color matching on the buttons and inner lining is superb. Well done.
