Luxe Denims

from Jacob Cohën

Today I am excited to bring you a crushworthy cache of Italian denim that very rarely escapes the designer workroom: deadstock from Jacob Cohën, the legendary house behind some of the world’s most coveted luxury jeans.

Woven from exclusive Japanese Kurabo and Mamarato denims and finished in Italy in an extraordinary 45-step process with no chemical intervention, these fabrics are not only exquisitely beautiful, but also environmentally friendly and naturally hypoallergenic—denim for those who care as much about how a fabric is made as how it feels and wears.

This is denim that behaves like a tailored textile: supple on the hand, quietly structured, and designed to hold its shape and color for years of wear. Think forever jeans, chore jackets with couture details, softly structured dresses, and everyday pieces that read “understated luxury” at first glance.

We were able to score a small stash of these Jacob Cohën bolts. So if you’ve ever wanted to sew with the same fabrics used in $500+ Italian jeans, this is your chance to add some serious swagger to your denim stash.
