Hello Sewing Friends,
Today, I am happy to bring you some bold new prints, including a pair of cotton blend floral fil coupé jacquards from Japan.
Fil coupé is a technique in which small patterns are created on fabric by weaving additional threads, which are then cut to produce a delicate, raised texture with a slightly frayed or fringed effect. This method gives the fabric a luxurious feel loved by high-end designers for its elegant visual appeal.
You’ll also find new American and European designer deadstock, including a score from ZARA, a fashion brand known for its on-trend clothing that brings runway-inspired designs to the ready-to-wear market.
