Hello Sewing Friends!
Viva l'alta moda! In France use of the term haute couture is protected by law much like use of the word champagne. In Italy, alta moda also means high fashion, but designers don’t need to be officially recognized by the state to use it. While the two terms may technically mean the same thing, the French and Italian approach to high fashion could not be further apart.
Some of of our most fashion-forward desiginer deadstcok comes to us from the fabled fashion houses and fabric mills of Italy. From Milan to Lake Como, Italian-milled fabrics are some of the finest found in fashion. Our collection currently includes rare finds from Emanuel Ungaro, Loro Piana, Ratti, Spirithouse, Stella McCartney, Zero + Maria Cornejo and others.
To celebrate the release of new Italian deadstock, I am happy to bring you a special on our entire collection of fabrics from Italy. Enjoy 20-72% off hundreds of fabrics in our ITALIAN COLLECTION through February 23.
Happy Sewing!
