On the left is my designing sister Katherine's color version of Butterick 6981, her new pattern available now on Simplicity.com. She created hers by combining BURGUNDIAN and MILES DAVIS STRIPES, a pair of American-made beautiful basic knits.
On the right is a black version that I whipped up using MOONSTRUCK, a cotton/lycra deadstock knit featuring wabi sabi dots, and a vintage stripe from my personal stash. Below I’ve paired it with STATEMENT STRIPES, another one of our American-made ready-to-wear knits.
