With Barbie bringing on the bacon at the box office, we thought it would be fun to feature the world’s most fabulous color, pink. First up below is a girl's dress made by Diane on the Art Barn team using two of our new pink knits—LORI and SUZANNE. She used a fun kids' pattern (NB-10Y) available from Puperita.
Next below is Vogue 1808, my twin set pattern available now on Simplicity.com. This popular pattern is ideal for creating a single solid color silhouette as well as perfect for pattern play. You can get sewing tips on my blog in the piece titled Twinset—Vogue 1808.
Then comes Vogue 8975, a dress featuring spacious drapey pockets perfect for stashing stuff. The version below was made with two harmonious knit prints on the same base: turquoise—DASHING DOTS and BROKEN LINES.
