Hello Sewing Friends!
Today I am happy to bring you new additions to the PAISLEY COLLECTION. Although the traditional tear drop design has its origins in Persia, Paisley's namesake is the Scottish mill town that first popularized the pattern throughout Europe. By 1860 the town’s legendary looms could weave paisleys in 15 colors. Most weavers of the time could only weave in two.
My designing sister Katherine and I have pored over more paisleys that we could possibly count over the years. So we are super picky about paisleys. You’ll find a carefully curated selection of paisley prints on fabrics from around the world in the PAISLEY COLLECTION.
Remember to enter pics of your garments for a seasonal chance to win a $500 gift card. Email photos to sewingcontest@marcytilton.design. Remember to include the pattern number and use a fabric from MARCYTILTON.com. A new winner will be awarded every season!
Happy Sewing!
