Bonjour de Paris!
Today I am happy to bring you a rare special on our classic CASHMERE fabrics. Enter code CASHMERE22 at checkout today (10/19/22) for 20% off a set of impeccable Italian cashmeres from the very same mill that makes them for the legendary Loro Piana.
There’s a saying in Biella, the Italian town most famous for milling cashmere, that a local will "greet you with one hand and touch what you’re wearing with the other." The idyllic town is home to the world’s premier producers of woolen fabrics—the ultra-lux kind used by beloved brands including Louis Vuitton, Fendi, and Gucci.
Show above on the right is a version of my V1817 design available now from Vogue Patterns created by sewing friend Gwen Spencer using one of our beautiful black cashmeres. Gwen’s interpretation offers a fresh take on this popular pattern. You can read more about V1817 on two posts on my blog. Both posts feature garment examples and helpful sewing tips and can be found at MARCYTILTON.blog.
Shown above on the left is a prototype of my designing sister Katherine’s new design for Butterick. This dashing jacket is made with GARNET, a visually delicious, color-saturated rich red cashmere that is super soft and sumptuous. Stay tuned for updates on her pattern release plus a collection of fabrics just right for it.
Today is a subscriber-only special. This means that code CASHMERE22 must be entered at checkout to see your savings.
Happy Stashing & Sewing!
