Today I am happy to bring you more exclusive new additions to the LINEN WOVENS COLLECTION on MARCYTILTON.com.
The Italian prints below marked EXCLUSIVE come to us directly from the mill that prints fine silks for Christian Dior, Dolce & Gabanna, Etro and Oscar de la Renta among other iconic fashion houses. What makes our new linens extra special is that they were milled exclusively for MARCYTILTON.com and feature actual designs originally printed on silk for some of the biggest names in fashion.
You will also find a selection of more popular linen prints from Japan and Poland including some beautiful linen blends with cotton and rayon. Hidden among the linens are a few silky soft ramie fabrics. Ramie is a less famous sister fiber to linen that looks and acts exactly like linen. Although lesser known than linen, ramie has been around for a while. In fact with evidence of its cultivation 6000 years ago, ramie is one of the oldest textile fibers right along with flax.
