Hello Sewing Friends!
Today I’m happy to bring you some new BLACK and BLUE fabrics. From the blue jean to the little black dress, black and blue are two of the most iconic colors of high fashion. It is interesting to note that when people across cultures are polled blue is by far the most popular color in the world. For my designing sister Katherine, blue is her go-to hue. It is often said that this or that color is the new black, but as a person for whom black is the base color of my wardrobe, I can assure you that black is always the new black in my closet. We buy black and blue fabrics not only with an eye for our own wardrobes but with an eye for visual variety for everyone out there who runs from rainbows and primary palettes. So for all of sewing friends who love to wear black or blue or both, today is for you!
